Future Of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality

The world is changing with budding technological experiments and innovation strips. The rage of human capabilities are being explored in the virtual world, connecting dots of algorithms and line of coded programs makes a perfect combination of virtual realization of the same physical presence. 


These words are populated these day's with a lot of future hopes, "virtual reality" and "augmented reality". These technologies are usually treated to be of the same genre but though they bleed somewhere of the same breed, some major aspects separate them. There are a lot of game development and Mobile Application Development Companies, using these dynamic & complex variation to innovate the user experience and help business to scale up their market


However they have some dis-similarities in them, let's acknowledge some facts about them.

Virtual reality(VR) and Augmented reality(AR) are kind of two very different aspects in two very different processing, unlike their motion' similar development and design. Virtual Reality(VR) replaces the actual environment, taking you to a whole different place. Whereas Augmented Reality (AR) adds information and details to reality, showing information on what you're already visualizing. 


There are various (AR/VR) devices available in the market, which includes headsets, tablets, wearable Tech and Joysticks/Consoles. It's all about experiencing different AR/VR devices as each has a different level of experience and the reality spectrum.

It is observed that much virtual reality(VR) headsets are usually dependent on mobile phones to display the content. As these are a good introduction to VR but they lack visual quality. Because they usually don't deliver an immersive experience.  


What is the future of these devices? 


Virtual reality(VR) and Augmented reality(AR) technology will develop and junction in two forms in the technologies as Tethered systems will be a unit or wearable on the human body, with a wire attached to a device or the processing unit. Standalone units will join all systems from display images to processing all within a single unit and be available as a wearable. 


As we are seeing the early motion of these trends as developers choose a mixture between standalone and tethered units. As some standalone units are already in stocks and these units are more complex and difficult to implement.


In today's time, we are in a position of compromise with these AR and VR devices. As none of the present systems delivers users a  boundless and immersive experience. As there's still a lot of space in the improvement of the systems, due to lacking wide field of view (FOV), also having a low display resolution, less brightness and a short performing battery life.


The game Pokémon Go gave a taste of  AR, but that was just the tip of what these technologies can perform. As extended capabilities and market increase, the rage of smartphones and other AR & VR devices evolve.


These AR / VR techs of the future will be personalized, usable and well-designed to give a realistic experience. As these devices will take hold, and platform will be more imminent. In the next 3-5 years we will be able to see new AR glasses with new LTE capabilities that will become an alternative to the daily use of mobile phones, as they would be improved immersive technology and AR capabilities.
